This is not your regular sports car, Lamborghini is a rare piece of machinery which is loved by the powerful and rich. All popular Lamborghini cars are named after Spanish fighting bulls—Diablo, Murcielago, Gallardo etc. It is believed that founder Ferrucio Lamborghini was so impressed by the bulls during a visit to Spain that he decided to adopt a raging bull as the symbol of his company.

Ferruccio Lamborghini was initially involved in the manufacturing of tractors but legend has it that after an altercation with a Ferrari dealership over the servicing of his car, Lamborghini decided to come up with his own speed machine. He finally entered the business of car manufacturing in 1963.

A very fast car, a Lamborghini is known to reach the speed of 100 km/h in less than 3.5 seconds. Lamborghini’s production facilities and headquarters are located in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy.

The anti-lock brakes in this super car automatically senses when the tyres stop rotating under extreme braking, and will modulate the brake pressure to allow the tire to rotate. What this does is it increases the vehicles ability to turn while braking.

Lamborghini’s stability control system senses when the vehicle’s handling limits have been exceeded and reduces engine power. The stability control system applies the brakes to prevent prevent the driver from losing control of the vehicle.

Quite like any other luxury car, Lamborghini comes equipped with all sorts of safety measures. The front-impact airbags for the driver and passenger have been designed to protect the head during a frontal crash. Then there are the side impact airbags for the front seats have been designed to protect the torso during a side impact collision. Lamborghini also has knee airbags that help to protect the occupants lower extremities from serious injury in the event of an accident.

The seatbelt pretensioners in this sports car automatically tighten seatbelts to place the occupant in the optimal seating position during a collision.This vehicle has a security system which detects any intrusion. The ignition disable device prevents the engine from starting if the original manufacturer key is not used.

The interiors complement the usual sporty character of Lamborgini without compromising on the console of driver and passenger. The logo is placed on the seats and spacious cockpit in yellow stitching. The instrumentation display includes tachometer, remaining fuel distance and external temperature data.
